Like I Said...

Like I said, I've been photographing a lot of bellies lately!

It was not the warmest day to be running around with belly showing but we found some great spots and got some cute shots! I love the rustic feel of the barn doors!

Another Baby on the Way!

I've had quite a few maternity sessions in the last few weeks!!

I shot my first baby shower and maternity combo for a friend of a friend last week (still trying to catch up on my posts!!). I love the idea and I am planning on offering it as a package, I just have to work out the details.

We began with a maternity session about an hour before the party at the house the shower was to take place. This was convenient because it gave mom-to-be something to do and the hostesses were able to finish up last minute details. After we were done and the guests began to arrive, I stayed and photographed mom-to-be with her guests, opening her presents, playing games and enjoying the afternoon.

Here are a few from the day as they celebrated the arrival of "Baby N":

One Well Loved Baby Brother on the Way

The "M" family is expecting a new member at the end of December and let me tell you, he will be one well loved little guy! His 3 adorable siblings couldn't get enough of kissing and touching him- and he hasn't even arrived yet!

We did the shoot at their house, which was a nice relaxing change from the beach- and I think it helped make the kids feel more at ease. They were a busy bunch! I probably should have bumped up my shutter speed more! Here is a quick peak:

A One of a Kind Wedding

I was asked by my mom to photograph the wedding of two of her friends. They were going to have a civil ceremony before Christmas and a more formal church wedding sometime in the spring.

Let me tell you, it was one of the most unique weddings! It was so sweet! Both are in their 80's and widowed for a number of years. She had told my mom that she never imaged that she would ever marry again but she found her prince charming. And he just radiates kindness. Here are a few from their civil ceremony wedding.

Crazy time of year!

I have been so busy with clients and my own family that I have not taken the time to post anything in the past few weeks! So I will try to catch up!

Adoarable!

What adorable kids! The girls had the most amazing eyes! And little "N" is sure to have the same eyes!

We had a heck of a time trying to get a good shot of the 3 of them!! I have not had a chance to go through all the shots to see if we got a perfect one, but I got we got some good ones! And I am sure I got some great ones of each of the 3 individually! I can't wait to edit this session!!

Here is a quick sneak peak- edited in between my girls soccer games and end of the season parties!

Are you tired of seeing this beach yet??

Same spot, different family! But it is such a beautiful beach- I never get tired of seeing it!

The "M" family is such a fun family! We had a lot of fun and got some cute shots. "J" with his adorable forced smile!! We loosened him up eventually. And "B" who never stops smiling!! He even sat still for family photos- although he kept turning his head!! And big sis "A" who tried to pretend she was too shy to have her picture taken!

More!

How cute is this family?! You may recognise the kids from my website as I had the pleasure of photographing them earlier this year.

Adorable and busy!! The twins were just like little "D" from the last session- they wanted nothing to do with holding still or being coorperative! It's that age! But we took our time and got some cute ones!

And the chase is on!

We had a lot of fun getting these family shots over the weekend! "D" the youngest of the "L" family wanted nothing to do with holding still for photos!! And once he realized there was water to splash in...look out!!

His brother "C" was trying so hard to be helpful! We ended up chasing "D" around the beach, scooping him up every now and then to try to get that family Christmas photo!!

We had a lot of fun! Well, maybe just me and the boys!? They are both adorable and so different from each other!

No Sunset Tonight

No sunset tonight at the beach. Just lots of June Gloom! Luckily it wasn't too cold. You would think that no one would be on the beach on a night light tonight, right? I think there were more people (and people with unruly dogs!) there tonight then in the summer.

That's all OK- the gloom, the chill, the dogs- because the shoot went well, the kids were great and the family being photographed are friends of ours. I can still remember when the eldest was the same age the twins are now! Time flies!

Here are some images from tonight:

Brothers

I think I'm due for someone without a nap. I know it's coming- because my luck can't last too long! I've had too many great kids in a row!! (not that those w/o naps aren't great- just not so fun at that moment!)

I had another great photo session with two adorable brothers! And they were SO GOOD!! And SO CUTE! They had the smile thing down!!! Every time they looked at me they cracked a smile. Even if it was mid sentence!! And I love how boyish they were. They were drooling at the thought of climbing all the trees around us! The whole family was really cute! I got some great ones of just "Mom" and "Dad".

I thought the end of Daylight Savings Time might mess us up. And the weird weather worried me a little too. But the light was just right! And I think the whole thing was a success!

Here is a little peak- I would love to hear what you think! Email me or leave a comment below.

Sisters

It's that time of year! Busy, busy, busy!

I had another photo shoot this evening. Two adorable sisters who I have had the privilege of watching grow up. And I got to play with the bench again! It sure looks great in the grass, I can't wait to see what it looks like in the sand.

The "D" girls were great- for about 45 mins! Then the kid in them came through got antsy and were ready for it all to be over. I don't blame them! Listening to me direct them for that long would make anybody antsy! Really, they were great!!

Here are a few of the examples of what I captured! And "K", their hair looks great!!
"E" getting antsy!!

Family Fun!

Sunday was a double day!! I shot the twins in the morning and T.H.'s family in the evening!!

What a great family!! Everyone was so sweet and lots of fun! Grandpa was as much of a kid as the kids- and you can see it in his eyes!! It was a little windy but we made the best of it. I brought along the new bench- borrowed from Tracie Taylor! I think it worked perfect for this situation. And thank you C for lugging it around for me!

Here is a peak at your photos:
