Baby Mateo~ Little Rock Climber

Little Baby Mateo, such a cute little guy. Mom and Dad are super active and enjoy mountain climbing and asked if I could incorporate some of their climbing gear into his photos. We had a good time trying to get the hardware to hang behind him. This little guy was full of energy and wasn't into sleeping for more than a few minutes at a time. Perfect personality to keep up with Mom and Dad once he gets mobile.

Baby Thomas~ At Home Session

This sweet guy is the same that I photographed in the hospital for his Fresh 48 session. Well, two weeks later I went to visit him for a Home Session. We were lucky and he slept really good! Maybe because it was so hot outside and I had the portable heater blowing on him on top of that. I don't think mom and dad were thrilled that I turned his room into a sauna! But he sure was happy. The only time he really gave us greif was when we tried to do the photo of him on his Grandpa's comparative football that mom had her parents ship in so that we could do photos. Apparently Grandpa played professional football in Canada- pretty cool. The books are all Dad's college books along with his glasses and we also did one with Dad's ties.

A little Behind the Scene- this was my space to work in. Each Home Newborn Session is different! Because I can't bring along my big studio lighting, I need a room with lots of light. Sometimes thats the kitchen, sometimes its a bedroom. We got luck and it was baby's room this time. It was a little squishy, but we got it done!

Welcome Baby Cameron~ Newborn Session

Cameron's little brother was super excited for me to come to their house and photograph them. He couldn't wait to show me his baby brother's room and tell me all about him. He even helped me arrange the golfballs for the photo of Cameron with all the balls (dad is a big golf fan- obviously). The only part he wasn't crazy about was posing for photos with mom and dad when we did some "lifestyle" photos. Baby Cameron on the other hand, did an awesome job and slept most of the session, even when his big brother decided that he should have a few golf balls on his head.

Baby Christian~ Studio Session

Sometime Home Sessions are easier for everyone, some times Studio Sessions are easier. One thing about studio sessions, I can utileze more of my props since I don't have to pack them all into the trunk of my car and lug them into your house! So if props are important, consider a Studio Session over a Home Session. Sometime people don't have the space to accommodate me and all my junk! Another reason for a Studio Session- plus no need to clean up the house.
This adorable little guy came to see me at my little studio about two weeks after we did his in hospital photos. He was a trouper and barely cried the whole time he was here. Good job little Christian!

Baby Thomas~ Fresh 48 Session

Another brand spanking new little guy I got to hold and photograph in his hospital room, just about 24 hours after he was born. Such a cutie pie! And such pretty hair. I can't wait to see this little guy in a couple of weeks for his traditional newborn session. Welcome to the world Baby Thomas!

Newborn Mini Session for Little Eva

If you want to do newborn photos, but either the idea of spending hours at a studio or you're worried it costs too much, Mini Sessions are a great idea. You get great images and save some money. The biggest difference is the number of poses and props. Usually Mini Session only take place at my studio, but I made an exception for sweet little Ms Eva, since I've know her dad for years and they live just down the street from me.

Fresh 48 for Sweet Little Eva

I got to go to the hospital and meet little Ms Eva less than 24 hours after she arrived into this world. Its such a special thing to be able to hold a little one so new!
I've known sweet little Eva's dad since before he could drive a car. Its so strange to think of him as a dad! But I know he's going to be a great one. She already has his heart wrapped around her little finger.
